It is never too early for mock draft season to start. Here is a look at my first mock draft as week 12 approaches in the NFL and college football season begins to come to a close.
1. Bengals- QB Joe Burrow LSU
Burrow has been the best QB prospect in the NCAA this year, and will become the Bengals face of the franchise.
2. Redskins- DE Chase Young OSU
The best prospect in the draft will form a great duo with Ryan Kerrigan.
3. Giants- WR Jerry Jeudy Alabama
4. Dolphins- QB Tua Taigiviola Alabama
A left handed Russel Wilson, with durability issues though. The Dolphins take the chance.
5. Jets- OT Andrew Thomas Georgia
The Jets get a franchise tackle to protect Sam Darnold.
6. Bucs- QB Justin Herbert Oregon
The Jameis Winston experience is over. Bring in Hebert, a more accurate and precision passer. He also takes care of the football.
7. Broncos- OL Tristian Wirfs Iowa
The Broncos need to rebuild in the trenches on the offensive side of the ball. Can never go wrong with a lineman from Iowa.
8. Falcons- CB Jeff Okudah Ohio State
The Falcons pass defense needs to be revamped. Here they add the best corner in the draft.
9. Cardinals- WR CeeDee Lamb Oklahoma
The Cardinals need to surround Kyler Murray with new weapons, and they do here by adding his college teammate.
10. Lions- DE A.J. Epensa Iowa
The Lions add a pass rusher up front to improve their defense.
11. Chargers- OL Tyler Biadaz Wisconsin
Whoever is the Chargers QB next year needs better protection.
12. Jaguars- CB Kristian Fullton LSU
After trading Ramsey, the Jags have a need at CB.
13. Browns- DT Derrick Brown Auburn
Adding an athletic lineman like Brown with Garrett forms a scary group up front.
14. Raiders- CB Xavier McKinney Alabama
The Raiders add another young talented player to their evolving defense.
15. Eagles- WR Tee Higgins Clemson
Give Wentz someone who can catch the ball.
16. Dolphins- DE Yetur Gross Matos Penn State
Dolphins go best player available, and pass rusher is a great place to go.
17.Titans- QB Jake Fromm Georgia
The Mariota experience failed, bring in Fromm who is a poised player and proven winner.
18. Panthers- DT Javon Kinlaw South Carolina
The Panthers need some beef up front on the defensive side.
19. Raiders- LB Dylan Moses Alabama
Coming off an ACL tear, the Raiders believe he is worth the risk to complete their defense.
20. Jaguars- TE Bryce Hopkins Purdue
Nick Foles loves his TE's up the seam.
21. Cowboys- CB Bryce Hall Virginia
The Cowboys back end on defense is where they are most vulnerable.
22. Colts- WR Laviska Shenault Jr. Colorado
A playmaking receiver would be a welcoming addition for the Colts.
23. Dolphins- OL Austin Jackson USC
Dolphins add some beef up front to protect their new QB.
24. Vikings- S Isiah Simmons Clemson
Simmons is a strong addition to an already top level defense in Minnesota.
25. Chiefs- S Grant Delpit LSU
The Chiefs defense has a lot of holes, drafting Delpit fills one of them.
26. Bills- WR Henry Ruggs III Alabama
Josh Allen needs more weapons if he is going to develop to his potential.
27. Packers- WR Devonta Smith Alabama
Aaron Rodgers would be very happy getting this elite receiving prospect.
28. Seahawks- LB Kenneth Murray Oklahoma
Murray alongside Bobby Wagner would be a great duo.
29. Ravens- RB D'Andre Swift Georgia
Mark Ingram is a nice piece, but a back like Swift with Lamar Jackson would be unguardable.
30. Saints- TE Jared Pinkey Vanderbilt
Another weapon in the passing game would elevate this Saints offense even more.
31. Patriots- QB Jacob Eason Washington
Tom Brady is beginning to slow down. An accurate passer like Eason would be a good transition.
32. 49ers- DE K'Lavon Chassion LSU
You can never have enough pass rushers in the NFL.
