NFL Fantasy Start/Sit: Week Two

Here is our weekly start/sit on article in regards to the upcoming fantasy football week! Obvious must start players are not referred to in the articles.

Start:

QB: Tom Brady vs Panthers- Brady didn't perform that well in week one, but this weekend he faces a young and unproven Panthers secondary. With better matchups for Gronk, Evans, Godwin, and new slot receiver, Scotty Miller, Brady should put up some big numbers this week.

QB: Dak Prescott vs Falcons- This game has all the makings of a shootout, and Dak has plenty of weapons to use in that style of game. Atlanta also has one of the worst secondary's in the league. Prescott, and the Falcons receivers should have a big afternoon.

RB: Joshua Kelley vs Chiefs- After a very impressive rookie debut for Kelley, he finds himself on the start list for me. The Chargers will want to keep the Chiefs high powered offense off the field, and they will look to pound the rock with Kelley to keep Mahomes and company off the field. The Chiefs allowed David Johnson to average 7.7 yards per carry last week, and Kelly has a similar running style to him. Think of Kelley as a flex play with upside as he will share touches with Ekeler.

RB: Todd Gurley @ Cowboys- This figures to be a high scoring affair, and full of fantasy points. Malcolm Brown had his way last weekend against the Cowboys defensive front, and Gurley has the potential to do the same, as well as receiving production.

WR: Michael Gallup vs Falcons- Don't look now, but Gallup could emerge as the number one receiving target going forward for Dak Prescott. The two have good chemistry, and the matchup against the weak Falcons secondary will allow Gallup to connect with Dak on some long plays down the field.

WR: Marquise Brown @ Texans- The number one wideout in Baltimore has a great matchup this week against a shaky Texans secondary and should continue his success that he had in week one (5 catches, 101 yards).

TE: Jonnu Smith vs Jaguars- Smith impressed in week one with 4 catches 36 yards and 1 TD. Smith showed the ability to be a factor in the red zone and make plays with the ball in his hands which gives me reason to believe he will have success against a young Jaguars defense this week.

TE: Jared Cook @ Raiders- With Michael Thomas out of this one, Cook's targets should increase. Cook is also playing against his former team, and players typically play better against their former squads. I like Cook to score a TD in this one.

Sit:

QB: Deshaun Watson vs Ravens- Starting QB's against the Ravens this year will be a major no in my book. This defense is elite across their line, with their LB's, and especially in the secondary. The Ravens held the Browns to only six points in week one, and I expect them to limit DeShaun Watson and the new look Texans offense this week as well.

QB: Carson Wentz vs Rams- Wentz looked terrible in the second half last week, and while the offensive line gets Lane Johnson back this week, the Rams have some talent up front that could cause the Eagles some fits in pass protection again. Wentz will struggle this year if the offensive line play doesn't improve, especially from a fantasy standpoint. Hold off on him until the line play improves.

RB: Malcolm Brown @ Eagles- Brown will likely be the biggest waiver wire pickup this week after his big week one performance, but that doesn't mean you should start him. The Eagles have one of the best defensive lines in the league, and held Washington to 2.2 yards per carry last week on 36 carries.

RB: Leonard Fournette vs Panthers- It is too risky to start Fournette until his role in the offense is clearly defined, even against a poor Panthers defense.

WR: Diontae Johnson vs Broncos- This is based off of a gut feeling, but I feel this will be a low scoring affair, and the running game will be relied on heavy.

WR: Robert Woods @ Eagles- Darius Slay shutdown Terry McLaurin last week, and will likely follow Robert Woods in this one and do the same thing.

TE: Evan Engram @ Bears- Engram was graded by PFF as the worst TE in week one, and he doesn't seem to have a great relationship on the field with Daniel Jones. Jones likes to spread the ball on the perimter and Engram doesn't seem to be a favorite target of his.

TE: Tyler Higbee @ Eagles- Under Doug Pederson and Jim Schwartz, the Eagles have always been solid against TE's. I like the way the Eagles defense matches up against the Rams offense this week.
