NFC Off-Season Team Needs

We give you the insights of the off-season needs for each team in the NFC below.

NFC East:

Eagles- WR, CB, S

The Eagles have a lot of work to do this off-season when it comes to adding speed and youth to their team. Philly needs to add some pass catchers for Carson Wentz with big time speed and the secondary needs to be rebuilt as well as Malcolm Jenkins, Rodney McLeod, and Jalen Mills could all be headed out the door.

Giants- OL, WR, DE

Getting more protection up front for Daniel Jones, and someone to set up rushing lanes for Saquon is a must for New York. The Giants also need to add some weapons at wideout and more edge rushers.

Redskins- WR, TE, OL

For Dwayne Haskins to succeed he is going to need more around him on offense and that starts with the offensive line, and some receivers to go with Terry McLaurin. A TE to replace Jordan Reed and Vernon Davis will be a position emphasized by the front office as well.

Cowboys- QB, CB, TE

Dallas needs to find out what they are doing with Dak Prescott first and foremost. Keep an eye out for the Cowboys going after Tom Brady too. The Dallas secondary needs some help, and Jason Witten is a shell of his former self, Dallas needs a new young TE.

NFC North:

Packers- WR, TE, LB

Green Bay had a great first year under new head coach Matt LaFleur, and they should only improve in year two. A LB who can cover and has sideline to sideline speed to make plays in the running game will be a point of emphasis for their off-season. Also, adding some WR's and TE's in this loaded pass catching draft to help Aaron Rodgers could propel the Packers to being favorites in the NFC.

Bears- WR, QB, OL

The Bears need to figure out their QB situation, and if they are still going to roll with Trubisky under center or roll the dice on someone else like Andy Dalton or Philip Rivers. Whoever is the QB in the Windy City though will need some more receivers to help him out, and some more lineman as well especially with the departure of Kyle Long due to retirement.

Lions- CB, DE, QB

With the third pick could the Lions be targeting a QB to replace Matthew Stafford? Stafford has yet to win a playoff game in Detroit and his time could be up there. Keep an eye on the Lions adding a lockdown corner such as Jeff Odukah, and some DE's to rush off the edge.

Vikings- CB, OL, WR

The Vikings struggled to contain the pass last year, and finding a few CB's either though the draft or free agency will be a key to their off-season. Also, even if the Vikings don't trade Stefon Diggs, another WR to join that group of pass catchers up north could help take Kirk Cousins to the next level.

NFC South:

Saints- QB, WR, TE

Drew Brees announced his is coming back, but the Saints need to find their guy for the future whether that is through the draft, or re-signing either Teddy Bridgewater or Taysom Hill. This Saints team is one of the more complete teams in the league, but adding some more pass catchers to join Michael Thomas will only make their offensive even better.

Falcons- TE, DE, RB

It appears Atlanta will be re-building their roster this year as it seems they are going to let both Austin Hooper and Vic Beasley Jr. leave in free agency. That would leave holes at TE and at edge rusher. Devonta Freeman is also an older back with a bad contract, and the Falcons could be looking to get rid of him and add a new RB with some high level speed through the draft.

Panthers- QB, RB, CB

New coach Matt Rhule said Cam Newton will be on the roster this year, but will he be the QB of the future in Carolina? Look for the Panthers to add a young QB through the draft, potentially with their first round pick for a developmental guy like Jordan Love. Adding a power RB to help complement and take some of the load off of CMC would be an ideal move as well. This draft has a solid group of corners and the Panthers might lose James Bradberry via free agency so keep an eye out for that position as well.

Bucs- QB, DL, OL

Nobody has any idea who will be playing QB for the Bucs next year except Bruce Arians. It will be intriguing to see who they target to play QB or if they bring back Jameis Winston. Whoever plays QB though for Tampa Bay needs more protection, and the D-line needs some more pass rushers to go alongside Shaq Barrett if he comes back.

NFC West:

Rams- OL, LB, DE

Jared Goff needs some consistent protection up front if the Rams offense wants to return to their 2018 regular season form. The NFL is predicated on defense upon rushing the passer and covering the pass and the Rams need a LB who can do both, and another DE to wreak havoc on QB's.

Cardinals- WR, OL, CB

Adding a true number one receiver, such as CeeDee Lamb or Jerry Jeudy and more offensive line protection is going to be the pivotal points this off-season in Arizona. Christian Kirk is a solid piece, and Larry Fitzgerald will still produce, but his days are numbered in the NFL. Adding CB's to help defend the pass in a division with some very good QB's like Russell Wilson is a smart idea too.

Seahawks- WR, OL, DL

Give Russell Wilson some help with another pass catcher and more help up front on the line. The Seahawks also need pass rushing help, especially off the edge. Seattle is going to try and resign Jadevon Clowney, and even if they do adding a young speed rusher would greatly enhance their pass rush.

49ers- WR, S, CB

Deebo Samuel was a great draft pick by the 49ers front office last year, and adding another receiver like him who can impact the game in multiple ways would be a great addition for the NFC Champs. The 49ers backend is what hurt them come the fourth quarter in the Super Bowl and adding some young guys with speed and a solid veteran will make their defense one of the best units in the league again, and potentially lift them over the top this season.
